"The Painter is inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's incredible talent as a painter. So much of what he studied and discovered was not only because of his incredible curiosity but to help him become a better painter. I wanted to incorporate his most famous painting, "The Mona Lisa" into the piece and I took elements from his other works such as, "The Virgin on the Rocks", to create the landscape, the floral border and added the moon because of his love and fascination of it.
