In the summer of 2020 I was fortunate enough to live close to the Denver Botanical Gardens. I spent a lot of my time there and continue to do so because its such a whimsical and inspirational place. I became especially fond of watching all the bees moving from flower to flower, spreading their magic and doing their very important work. That is when I decided to start painting bees and wanted to highlight what magical creatures they truly are. From there became the start of The Bee Collection and it continues to grow.
