Embracing a Hectic Start to 2025 & Exciting Plans Ahead ✨

It’s been a while since I’ve written in my blog, Magical Grit, but I’m excited to say it’s back for monthly updates! This space will follow my journey to becoming a full-time artist, sharing the highs, challenges, and everything in between.

As we step into 2025, I can’t help but reflect on how this year has already been a whirlwind of activity. Between managing my current collections, launching new projects, work and planning for an incredibly busy year ahead, things have been non-stop at the Baby Jess Universe. While the chaos can be overwhelming at times, it’s also a sign of growth, creativity, and exciting opportunities on the horizon.

Arctic Realms: A Collection in the Making ❄️

One of my biggest focuses right now is my upcoming Arctic Realms collection, set to debut in April. This series is deeply inspired by my unforgettable trip to Iceland last year and the raw beauty and serenity of the Arctic, capturing the icy landscapes and the ethereal glow of the polar skies 🌌. I’ve been pouring my heart into every piece, ensuring that this collection conveys the magic of these frozen realms. The creative process has been both exhilarating and challenging.  If you’ve been following my work, you know how much I love immersing myself in the details—whether it's the delicate fur of an Arctic Fox or the soft shimmer of the aurora borealis reflected on icy waters. I have also been working on multiple pieces at once, which is a new approach for me and I am still unsure if I like it, hahah! More on that next time. 

Preparing for an Unforgettable Year 🚀

While the Arctic Realms collection is keeping me busy, it’s only the beginning. 2025 is shaping up to be one of my most eventful years yet! I’m preparing for upcoming events, shows and new creative ventures that I can’t wait to share with you. With so much in the works, I’ll be balancing my time between painting, connecting with art lovers, and growing the Baby Jess Universe into something even bigger.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my collectors and followers—it’s because of you that I get to do what I love every single day. Your enthusiasm fuels my creativity, and I can’t wait to bring you along for this year’s artistic journey.
